Concerts

Our various ensembles perform multiple times throughout the year at our school concerts and assemblies.

The LPCI Music Program hosts two concerts each school year. Our "Winter Musicale" concert takes place in late November or early December, while our "May Lyrics" concert is in late April or early May. Both concerts offer LP music students the opportunity to showcase their skills to their peers and the community.

Ontario Band Association: Provincial Music Festival

Tuesday, February 11 @ 5pm

Come out to the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto to hear our very own Junior Band and Concert Band perform at the OBA Provincial Music Festival. Performances are free!

Time: Junior Band 4:55pm & Concert Band 6:40pm
Tickets: Festival is open to the public and free; no reserved seating.

May Lyrics

Thursday, April 30, 2026 @ 7pm

Lawrence Park CI Music Department invites you to our annual May Lyrics on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 pm). Celebrate an evening of live music as our talented music students showcase their skills and passion!

The concert will feature second-semester music classes and our extracurricular ensembles, including the LPCI Concert Band, Symphonic Strings, Concert Choir, Stage Band, and the student-led House Band.
