Here is the full page of designs in blue pen, I still need to fine line, but so far it is looking like there are a few good designs. I am supposed to do a 3D sketch, but I think it will ruin it because I have not been shown how to 3D sketch
This is my favourite design because I like the idea of the human being taken by the UFO, I think it looks very good, but I am not sure how I would make it.
This design I based off my mousepad at home, it is a topographic design, but I don't actually think I like this. It just doesn't look right.
Mr Douglas scanned all of our work just before we fine lined so we can also fineline on procreate and make it look more smooth. I think I should have pressed harder with the blue pen because it is too light. So when we finish on paper, we will be able to transefer these skills onto procreate. In my opinion, procreate is actually better because the lines are much smoother and look clean.
Here is my fully rendered design idea sheet, I am not sure how much I like the designs and I think the colouring could have more of a 'gradient' because currently it is all a solid colour.
These are my best finelined designs, I think that the lines are cool, and the overall design looks very clean.
Once we finished our blue pencil part of the paper design, we had to hand our design in to get it scanned, this basically means that it will be online as well, now you can take this image to procreate, and choose a pen that you want to use for finelining, and then start going round your blue pencil design.
These 3 designs are my best colored deigns, I think that the tone of the color is good, and the colour compliment eachother very well.
First of all, to render, you must select the masking tool, and then tap on the area you want rendered, then once the area you want has turned blue, click on the pen icon and choose the pen you will use to render, I used a pen from a pack that was sent to us by Mr. Doulgas. Then, you go around the area yuo rendering, making sure that the edge is dark, and the center in lighter.
I think that these 3 designs are the ones with the best shadows, I think they look very good.
You must use the masking tool to select the area that you want to shadow, then click on the pen and you will have the masking tool activated. Select the pen that you will use, then go over the sides of the masked area and you will get the effect that you want.
I think that I organized my layers quite well so that there was not much clutter and was easy access, I did all my rendering on different layers, but i did the shadows on the same layer as the rendering, which I think was a mistake.
