Alexandra Dillon & Skin tone

we did some research and studied an artist called Alexandra Dillon who's known for painting on the common objects or items in everyday life (mirrors, brushes etc.).

After this we studied how to create different skin tones from combining a range of acrylic painting colors, and demonstrated it.

Next time I can try to add comments on what, how and quality(results).

proportion & artists research

We made two portraits to better understand the placement of features on the face, whilst learned some specific art techniques such as crosshatching(a method of drawing lines that describes shadow with hatching from different directions, so that shadow would be created by a density of crossed lines.) and using rubber to create highlights.

In the most recent lesson, we researched two well-known artists and created a mind map that reveals their biography as well as their own unique features that are represented in their artworks that inspire people.
