Annie Leibovitz: (1949 - )
She was born in Waterbury, CT, but she lived in the Philippines in 1967 because her father was in the military
She went to college at the San Francisco Art Institute to study painting, but decided to become a photographer after taking a night class in the subject
She photographs celebrities, the most notable including John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Keith Richards, Mick Jagger, Queen Elizabeth II, Leonardo DiCaprio, the Obama family, and Jennifer Lawrence.
Her photography of celebrities was so expensive that she went $24 million in debt and was sued for this in 2009
