As summer approaches, you may be beginning to consider which university is right for you. One of the best ways to do this is to go to open days; these days (or sometimes several days) give you an excellent opportunity to understand what the university in question can offer you for your desired course, and gives you an insight into the university environment. Don't forget, the course you do is not all that matters. Wherever you study, you will have to live there, typically for three (sometimes four) years so it is important to be where you feel most comfortable as well.
Naturally in the normal world this would involve travelling across the country to see the particular campuses that attract you. However this has understandably been prevented due to the pandemic. Not to fret though, universities have adapted very well and are offering virtual open days which still do give a great deal of information on the campuses and the courses. Plus, if the pandemic remains under control, the universities to plan to operate more typical in person tours and open days.
