Testimony from Lindsey Lewis, a 3rd grade teacher at Hertford Grammar School that works with our level 2 PQ Ambassador Taylor Honza:
"Good morning Mrs. Dail,
Just sending you an email to brag on Taylor. She has taken a huge initiative this year to help both me and the students. She has learned (by herself) who those students are that need more assistance in math and has taken it upon herself to sit with them and offer them support. Those with SEL needs, she checks in with each morning and is building that relationship. She steps in when the bathroom is backed up and offers to walk some to the next building to get them back to class sooner.
She has also helped me grade classwork assignments, help grade pre-tests (we'll dig into that data once we get the post test), helped me update my bulletin board, been an active part of our class read aloud (and reads to them some days). Where there is slack, she picks it up. It is already a huge help having her in the classroom and I see so much growth! Thank you for sharing her with HGS and our class!"
"Miss Charlotte is doing a great job leading her Math small group!" -Mr. Spaugh, Hertford Grammar School

PQ Ambassador Preston enjoys assisting Ms. Jordan and Cooper at Hertford Grammar School.
PQ Ambassadors work with small groups as well as in one-on-one teaching moments- they even get some hugs from their students!
The 2024 Fall Semester PQ Ambassadors had a fun time helping "hook" students into the program. Students had the opportunity to fish for candy canes while learning more about the program.
