A good organizer focuses their attention on important tasks, makes lists, manages their time well, and delegates tasks well.
My organizational skills aid me in completing assignments and responsibilities. I know how to prioritize work, make plans, and put them into action. I am able to manage my time to ensure my time is spent wisely and efficiently. As StuCo project manager, I was responsible for organizing and managing StuCo's Canvas page and google drive. Every week, I updated the cabinet and committee report pages in Canvas, and I uploaded event documents to their corresponding modules. Additionally, I managed StuCo's google drive by creating folders and ensuring that cabinet knows where all documents are located within the drive. As Red Cross Club secretary, I kept track of meeting minutes and keep documents organized in the drive.
A good communicator has excellent professional speaking abilties, is able to listen empathetically, and is able to negotiate well.
I know how to communicate information quickly, exchange ideas, and pay attention to any other messages shared. I am able to communicate effectively and handle difficult social circumstances well, such as negotiating or establishing compromises. As NHS President, it is my responsibility to ensure NHS members feel up-to-date and engaged in NHS events and meetings. Additionally, as StuCo project manager, I made it a priority to communicate with StuCo cabinet and members. I let cabinet know when event documents are uploaded to Canvas so that they could begin working on planning and executing the events. I informed StuCo members about upcoming StuCo events and important logistical information about events. As Red Cross Club secretary, I maintained good communication with Red Cross Club cabinet about upcoming meetings and events.
A good leader is decisive, can handle being under pressure, is trustworthy, has clear communication, and is able to problem solve.
To ensure success in a group setting, I am able to encourage, instruct, and provide guidance to others. My volunteer experience has strengthened my teamwork and collaboration skills. I am confident in my abilities to assist others in their efforts to work, collaborate, solve problems, and fulfill their responsibilities. I am actively working toward making my school a better place for all of my fellow students. I make sure that I listen to my fellow classmates and peers to ensure that all voices and perspectives are heard.
