Being a member of Book Battle, I designed a logo for our t-shirts. I pitched my design to our librarian to get approval.
Three weeks later, we received the shirts with my design on them. It was such a stepping stone in my design career to see my work on t-shirts.
We ended up winning district championships. It was such an honor to see my friends and teammates wearing my design.
After both of my t-shirt designs were selected for my graduating class I was elated; this was a huge opportunity for me that not only allowed my designs to be applied but also granted me experience in marketing and selling products. I marketed the products on various social media platforms and uploaded the links to the website to pre-order them. With the help of my librarian, we were able to sell 386 shirts, raising approximately $5,790 for my graduating class.
My design for our schools boys soccer team was selected to become their official logo that is to be used on shirts and jerseys. Below, I have attached a few of my designs for possible spirit wear for parents and athletes.

I designed the Open House flier for my schools invinational niht for parents. This event was to introduce parents to teachers and faculty on campus, while also being allowed to visit the classes and courses that their student is taking. I found this design very fun because I was able to encorporate my schools colors into the overall aesthetic.
A client of mine asked me to design a form of japanese cherry blossoms for her. This one was a bit of a struggle for me as I haden't had any experience drawing the blossoms of that specific type of tree. But with research and a lot of reference photos, I really liked how the design turned out. My biggest priority was to produce a balanced design that had levels of hierarchy so it would look natural.
The client waned me to design a tattoo for her tattoo artist that would represent her newborn baby. I was instructed to design a ghost but add a rose and pearls. She also instructed she wanted me to give the ghost a more feminine vibe. I decided to go with a sun hat and add a flowy ribbon. I made a few altercations to make sure the client was happy with the result before she took the design to get it tattooed.
This was my first ever tattoo design. My client had told me she loved sunflowers and that she wanted me to make something that had a sunflower as the main component. I applied what I learned in design about hierarchy to my piece while incorporating other flowers as well to balance out the design.
I am honored to have had the opportunity to design our school's Texan Medal of Honor Awardees, recognizing our Veterans in the district for their service to our country. As a military dependent, I was truly honored to have my design selected to honor the veterans in my community.
As a graphic design intern I was able to design an advertisement for the CMP Academy's social media account's so that students can see what amazing work is done in the academy and be inspired themselves to partake in creative media.
Christmas Card Design
This was a commission I did for a friend of mine and her family, designing a Christmas card that they could send out to their friends, family, and coworkers. They had told me that they wanted a formal design. At first, I was hesitant— it was my freshman year of high school and I had no previous experience in designing. This was my first ever commission and I made sure it was as formal as my client wanted it. I asked around and got advice from my peers, eager to make it perfect as it was the first time I was requested to design something. My friend and her family ended up loving it and used it for their cards that year. This design piece shows me just how far I have come and how much more confident I am in my designs. When I designed this, I had no clue that I would want to turn my designs into a career one day. Now, I believe that I can create impactful designs that not only are "formal" but convey a message.
