SNAP! is a coding website that gives users access to simple and custom coding. With the DBA SNAP! Coding course, students will be able to learn how to coding using blocks, give sprites the ability to talk and move, and make their own mini games or projects using the site.
SNAP! gives students the opportunity to also learn about programming, which is suitable for both newcomers and those who want to learn on a deeper level of computational thinking.
Towards the end of the 1st semester, students will use what they've learned to create a partner/group final project using SNAP! --- Students will make an original game using the platform and test other students games in a "gallery walk" around the class on the day of finals and give critic/leave comments on a paper for each game final they play through.
