Towards the nearing of finals, students will combine what they know about coding and video games, and create their own mini game on SNAP! as their final for semester one (1). Using class time, --- and time outside of school if they choose --- students will be able to partner up with a peer (or two depending on class size) to first begin researching and taking notes on video games that relate to the mini game they wanna make via game mechanics or the style of gameplay. By the day of Finals, Students should be able to have their game done, and let their classmates try out their games and critique how well it does; the final's grade is determined by the teacher and based off critique written on paper.
For the 2nd semester final, students will be creating and google slide presentation about themselves!
Their presentation will be 5-6 slides long, all of which will include their introduction (name, grade, birthday, and ethnicity), a slide on their family tree and culture, another slide on school activities, top 3 best things in their life, things they don't understand and can't live without, and where they recommend people to go to. Their 4th, 5th, and 6th slides will contain their future plans, hobbies, and favorite things of their choice.Â
