Singapore has over 1,600 community gardens which are managed by the Resident Committees and National Parks Board (NParks). These community gardens gather residents to grow edible crops, and plants to beautify our cities.
Compost is a valuable addition to the growth of crops.
You can play a part by donating excess compost or food waste to these community gardens. Fruits and vegetables grown in the garden will be given to the elderly or residents in need.
