Even though we come from different countries and cultures, we are all guilty of the same action - wasting food in our households. The sheer volume of food we waste has caused frustration and annoyance amongst us, as we struggle to recycle and reduce this waste conveniently.

Grouping together as a team was a blessing for us as we got to tap on our different expertise to make a change in our common lifestyle. We started off by focusing on our CEO's homeland - Singapore, where resources are scarce, and yet recycling in households isn't common. Within 3 weeks, we ideated, prototyped and pitched Fertizo - A simple compost bin for households to recycle food waste.

We aim to be the change we want to see in a greener world and will be expanding internationally in due time.
