The Grand Slam, also known as Home Run, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Sandman or Atomizer equipped. The Scout points to the sky, winds up, and swings the bat, instantly killing any enemy too slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in range.
The Grand Slam is capable of casting a victim's ragdoll a considerable distance away. Although the entirety of the wind-up is silent, a sound effect of a crowd cheering plays upon a successful hit. The kill area of the taunt is relatively small, allowing enemies time to jump away from the taunt and avoid death.
The Grenade, also known as Kamikaze, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Equalizer or Escape Plan. The Soldier throws his weapon over his shoulder dramatically, cracks his knuckles, rips a grenade from his bandolier and pulls the pin. The resulting explosion gibs the Soldier himself, and any enemy too slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be within range.
This taunt destroys any enemy players and buildings that are within approximately 1.8 metres (6 feet or 96 Hammer Units) of the explosion. The area of effect of this taunt allows the Soldier to kill multiple enemies, including any that are next to or even behind the taunting player. Enemies that inflict damage to the taunting Soldier before the explosion are credited with a Grenade kill.
Upon taunting with any secondary weapon equipped (other than the Scorch Shot or Thermal Thruster) or the Hot Hand, the Pyro winds their hands back, concentrates, then releases their inner fire energy as the Hadouken (literally "wave motion fist" or "fist of surge"). This taunt inflicts fatal fire damage to any building or enemy slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be within range. The range at which the taunt kills is 48 Hammer Units, past which it has no effect. Its wide range of fire is capable of hitting multiple targets at once. As a fire attack, any enemy that survives the Hadouken is ignited.
The Barbarian Swing, also known as Decapitation, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Eyelander, Half-Zatoichi, Claidheamh Mòr, Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker, Persian Persuader, or Nessie's Nine Iron equipped. The Demoman twirls his sword behind his back, leading to a horizontal slash that slices off the head of anyone slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in the way. The Demoman concludes his short swipe by bringing his blade back and wiping down its length with his fingers. Only a single target can be affected by the kill taunt at one time, even if multiple enemies stand in the same spot.
The High Noon, also known as Showdown, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Fists, Saxxy, Apoco-Fists or Holiday Punch equipped. The Heavy mimics a quick-draw pistol showdown, resulting in instant death for any enemy slow, unaware, or merely unlucky enough to be in the way.
Unlike most taunt kills, High Noon must be aimed manually; the taunt's invisible bullet fires in the direction the player was facing at the time. Because of this, it can be aimed in any direction, including straight up or down, and can miss even when the enemy is directly in front of the Heavy's "gun hand." However, this property also allows the taunt to hit enemies through even the smallest holes, such as between the missing boards of the center point in Badlands.
The Guitar Smash, also known as Dischord, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Frontier Justice equipped. The Engineer pulls out his trusty guitar, plays a chord, and then bashes it over the head of any enemy slow, unaware, or unfortunate enough to be in the way, breaking the guitar.
Upon a successful hit, the enemy's head will appear to be pounded into their chest. This Guitar Smash taunt has a long range, making it capable of killing an enemy standing on the Engineer's head if he was looking at the enemy at the time the taunt was initiated. The range, however, does not extend below as it will not kill an enemy the Engineer is standing on.
The Uberslice, also known as Spinal Tap, is a kill taunt that activates by pressing either the alt-fire with the Ubersaw active. The Medic throws his coattails back and enters a combat pose before thrusting his Ubersaw forward and retracting it, killing any enemy player slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in the way. Only a single enemy can be affected by this taunt at a time, even if multiple enemies stand in the same spot.
The Arrow Stab, also known as Skewer, is a kill taunt that activates upon taunting with the Huntsman or Fortified Compound equipped. The Sniper will remove the prepped arrow from his bow, spin it behind him, and then fiercely stab it forward before yanking it back, killing any enemy player slow, unaware, or simply unfortunate enough to be in the way.
Upon taunting with any melee weapon except the Sharp Dresser and Spy-cicle, the Spy gracefully tosses his weapon to his left hand and begins to practice a deadly fencing maneuver, resulting in damage or death for anyone slow, unaware or simply unfortunate enough to be in the way.
Enemies hit by the first two initial swipes will suffer minimal damage and receive minimal knockback, while the last thrust is a guaranteed instant kill in almost all cases. The taunt can kill multiple enemies if it connects on both the stabs and thrusts. The range at which the taunt will kill is 48 Hammer Units, past which it has no effect. Fencing can also destroy buildings upon impact.
