One obvious misconception with Fentanyl (that I've seen) is many introducing the deaths from this drug as a overdose. However, this statement isn't correct. An overdose has occured when an individual ingests an excessive amount of known substance, usually leading to harm or death. POISONING happens when the substance is disguised as something else that's typically for consumption, leading to harm or death. We shouldn't blame this Fentanyl POISONING on the people taking the drug as this could happen to anyone. In reality, you could get this slipped into your drink, this could be found in candy on Halloween. This is why (and I can't stress this enough,) you ALWAYS have to be aware, unless something is securely wrapped, please please please do not accept it.
(A Penny next to the lethal amount of Fentanyl.)
Fentanyl can be inside of any pill you take that isn't prescribed, it is is 6/10 unprescribed pills currently. It is nearly impossible to avoid. Fentanyl cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted, it can be found as pills, loose powders, film, tablets, and even blotter paper.
