Material from external sources, such as, Harvard, The Case Center, other suppliers, libraries and even your own material, can be added to the syllabus.
You should fill in all the information in the form and the Documentation Department, Purchasing Department and or IE Library will make the material availabe through links in the syllabus, after the pertinent authorization of use and purchase (if needed). You will receive specific instructions of usage in special cases (simulators, multimedia material, etc.)
Professor's own material (word, pdf, ppt) should be uploaded by the professor in the corresponding box of the form.
By clicking this option you will be able to select the different types of material. The syllabus will automatically display the information you need to fill in for any type.
You can see a brief description of each type of material, when it is selected.
* The Virtual Reality Material option only appears if you have previously clicked the Virtual Reality Material checkbox in the previous step.
IE now includes Virtual Reality Materials as a new feature. To make them available, the Virtual Reality Material option next to the session type must be checked.
Then add the type of Virtual Reality Material and select the one you wish.
Virtual Speech: Software that provide AI-powered soft skills training on presentation skills, public speaking, sales pitches, remote working, communication skills among other self-paced training courses designed to improve your skills in the most effective way.
Oculus Multimedia: Content that offers the possibility of watching any VR video player with VR headsets, combining intuitive design with the very latest features (Unity and Unreal software, among others) to showcase the power of virtual reality at its very best.
Bodyswaps: It´s a platform which offers immersive off-the-shelf experiences that can help your learners develop vital skills like how to communicate, collaborate, and lead.
Youtube VR: This app turns every video on the platform into a personalized virtual reality experience. In this way, YouTube reinvents itself as a 3D world that you can explore from the inside.
Gravity Sketch: It´s an intuitive 3D design platform for cross-disciplinary teams to create, collaborate, and review in an entirely new way.
Once you add the material, you will be able to select one of the options, that allows you to fine-tune the visualization set-up.
Please note, it is FORBIDDEN to distribute the purchased material by email or any other electronic format without express written consent.
Syllabus and Blackboard are always the authorized tools to distribute the material. For any particular case, the Documentation Department will advise.
In general, the materials puchased are valid exclusively for the subject and program requested. The time of use will depend on the institution.
Articles, Journals and Book Chapters will be distributed in accordance with their corresponding legal rights
Documentation Department will acquire the necessary permissions once the documents have been included in the syllabus, prior to its publication, for instance, the CEDRO/VEGAP seal.
Any other document uploaded by the professor to the syllabus will be checked in order to see if it has any copyright or restrictions and act accordingly.
RESTRICTIONS FOR THE USAGE OF CEDRO CONTENTS
The book chapters that are added to the syllabus have the following restrictions:
No more than 10% of the total pages of the book can be reproduced.
They always need to have the Cedro seal.
