Relevant Lesson Plan ideas that you could do with your students in relation to Super Kids include:
Splitting the students into small groups (based on their reading level/skills) and having a reading workshop to assess what the student know and don't know
Play interactive games with your students to help them understand basic phonics skills. Examples include completing word towers (have the students sound out and placing them into a tower) the word placing words into word families (have photos of objects that start with "sh" and the students need to place the photo that correlates to the word). Then have the students continue practicing these skills with SuperKids.
Have students read sight words (basic words that do not have relevance to any other word) and a memorization game to have them remember. The teacher can then incoperate these site words into the readings on SuperKids.
Read a book to the students online and have them point out any sight words that they may see, have a BDA discussion (Before, During and After) discussion and have the students write questions that may have on online tools like Padlet
*NOTE - a majority of these games can be played online and can be used as an interactive tool to engage students and make them excited about reading *
