What is Super Kids?

The Super Kids Reading Program an online learning tool that allows for students to have access to a wide variety of books and games that help develop students reading comprehension. This program is typically used for students ranging from pre-school to second grade in order for the students to develop the basic skills needed to further ones reading skills. Each student when beginning the program is given a pre-test that will place each individual student to their proper reading level. After students are placed in their proper reading level, Super Kids allows for the students to have access to a wide variety of books and games that will help each student progress. If the students are little and are still unable to read complete sentences, the program includes a wide variety of books that will read aloud to them. As students slowly become better at reading, the Super Kids program moves them up a level.

How is this helpful for teachers?

Within the Super Kids Reading Program, teachers are able to have access each students account and keep track of their progress throughout the year. Likewise, teachers can set a benchmark that they want their students to meet by a certain period of time. For example, if a student starts reading at level 4 the teacher is able to keep track of the students progress. Therefore, they might set their benchmark for a level 7. When students surpass this level, you can they go in and reset the benchmark. Thus, making the Super Kids Reading Program an easy tool to asses all students learning and how "on track" they are with the curriculum standards.
