Our 2020 garden had 6 varieties of heirloom tomatoes. Not a good year for a canning supply shortage when you have loads of tomatoes.
Fresh green beans were a highlight of this year's summer garden. I only wish I had planted more, and had more canning lids of course.
We had great success with the red potatoes we had unintentionally sprouted in the cupboard and decided to plant.
This cabbage was the star ingredient of the most delicious coleslaw I have ever made.
Strawberries
Very plentiful this year, I guess they were thankful for the transfer from containers to a new raised bed.
Blueberries
Our blueberry bush has been getting bigger and producing more every year, they are so delicious.
Raspberries
The raspberries come in twice, early and then late and they come in heavy. Each year we get more and they are delicious eaten by the handfuls at pickings still leave plenty for recipes.
Grapes
Our grape vine has now completely covered our arbor which helps provide shade for the greenhouse and copious amounts of grapes with seeds. I make grape jam and grape juice concentrate.
