Meet the Teachers

Welcome Tree Frog Families! We look forward to working with you as we work together to help your young child build the necessary skills to grow and develop as a Pre-Kindergartner. We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and to help you get to know your child’s teachers.

Emily Moore

I grew up in Virginia, and graduated with my bachelors and masters in Inclusive Early Childhood Education from James Madison University. Go Dukes! I have taught for DoDEA schools, here, at Fort Bragg since 2013, and have had the pleasure of working at Hampton Primary for the last three years. I have taught general education Pre-K, as well as PSCD (Preschool Services for Children with Disabilities). My experience as a PSCD teacher has helped me to meet the needs of all my students. I work hard in class to focus on skills that will help to develop all areas of development in children. What I enjoy most about Pre-K is that it is truly the age of discovery, and young children want to learn about the world just as badly as I want to teach them.

Besides my classroom experiences, being a military wife has brought me to new places and has armed me with the knowledge of the joys and unique difficulties that military families experience. My husband and I welcomed our daughter Adeline (Addy for short) in November of 2018, and being a first time mom, I believe, has helped me to be a better teacher. I try to be the teacher I hope my own daughter will have one day - I strive to be kinder, more patient, more balanced, and more efficient every day.

Again families, I look forward to being your teammate this year as we work together to shape your child’s future school successes;

it takes a village.
