I am a PE Teacher at RBES, in Stuttgart Germany. As a Logistics Officer, I manage the planning and coordination of resources, ensuring smooth operations and timely support. I am committed to fostering both physical and intellectual growth in my community.
Ms. Sansone hails from Vicenza, where she teaches biology, AP biology, and AP environmental science and has a menagerie of animals, plants, fungi, and microbes that help her students in the learning process. She will be running the biotech workshop at STEMposium and helping students apply technology to understand questions and challenges in life science.

I am Dan Wilson, a Math teacher at SHAPE High School in Belgium. I believe that STEM combines together all the skills from science, language arts, math and your Tech/CTE classes. So I want to thank all your other teachers for helping you fill your tool belt with the skills you will need to save the world. I’ll be the Structural Engineering Lead for this STEMposium, helping students design everything from living quarters to research facilities. I don't have all the answers, but together we will build solutions!
I’m Matthew Burkman, an AP Physics teacher at Stuttgart High School in Germany. I love turning wild ideas into real problems to solve preferably the kind that involve big numbers, clever teamwork, and just a hint of chaos. At this year’s STEMposium, I’ll be leading students through a challenge that’s equal parts science, creativity, and adventure. If it can be calculated, tested, or nearly blown up, I’m all in.

I have a robust background in training students on audiovisual equipment and production techniques, managing live and pre-recorded multimedia projects, and ensuring technical excellence in every production. With a Master’s in Instructional Design and Educational Technology and a bachelor’s in communications with a focus on Video Production, I bring a rich blend of technical expertise and instructional prowess. My ability to maintain high production standards, troubleshoot technical challenges, and develop engaging multimedia projects has solidified my reputation as a leader in audiovisual education and production.

Hello! I’m Nurse Alex Sandoval, the school nurse at Alconbury Elementary. I’ve had the pleasure of supporting students on field trips, JROTC camps, and sports competition travels—keeping everyone healthy, safe, and always ready to enjoy the adventure.
Before joining the DoDEA, I worked as a Med-Surg nurse providing pre- and post-surgery care, and prior to my nursing career, I served as a bilingual teacher in Dallas, Tx. Outside of school, I love traveling, spending quality time with my wife and daughters, and fully embracing my favorite season—Christmas!
