STEMposium is a week-long experience plunging DoDEA Europe students into an intense real-world scenario. Students from different schools apply, are selected and then are placed in teams of 6 that use the engineering design process to apply science, technology, engineering and math concepts to solve numerous evolving problems encountered and design a solution to the scenario.
Scientists, engineers and other experts will be on hand to mentor each team through the process. Teams will present their results to their peers and a panel of experts throughout STEMposium. The culminating events on the last day are a final presentation of the team's solution, a robot rumble, and an engineering design challenge.
We also encourage you to look us up on our STEMposium Facebook page, where you can interesting stories, look back over past STEMposiums, and find current contenct during our week long event in December.
