I Need Help

Help for Digital Learners

Does your RIS digital learner need help? First think about what type of student your digital learner is.

  • Students who are NOT in grades 3, 4, or 5
Students who do not attend RIS should reach out to the school they are enrolled in to establish how help is provided.

  • Students who attend RIS and are enrolled in the virtual school program
Students who are enrolled at RIS or whose virtual teacher is a teacher at RIS should initially contact their teacher for help. In addition, technical help can be obtained using this link. This link is only for DV students.

  • Students who attend RIS as a full time, regular attendance student
Most of the time, students can receive help from their classroom teacher. However, should the help need a higher level of expertise, the student and teacher can reach out to the resident experts in the building for help. Work with your child's teacher initially to get help and then if further help is needed, allow the teacher to contact the necessary staff.

  • Students who are enrolled at RIS but are in a formal Home School program and attend RIS for limited services
Home schooled students would also need to work with the classroom teacher they see for help. Should the help need a higher level of expertise, the student and teacher can reach out to the resident experts in the building for help. Work with your child's teacher initially to get help and then if further help is needed, allow the teacher to contact the necessary staff.
