Unit 1: During this unit, students observed and created habitats for multiple organisms such as goldfish, snails, guppies, darkling beetles, and isopods. Various investigations are conducted. Observation logs were kept to track changes in the environments and how that affected the growth and development of the organisms.

Unit 2: Fourth graders are currently learning about the Northeast region and how that area of the United States continues to help shape our country. Students are learning how the climate, landforms, and agriculture differ from other regions across the country. Throughout the unit, students conduct investigations about the Northeast.
