If a concern for an AVID student arises, the AVID teacher, counselor, student, and a guardian will meet to discuss the concerns. The student will be placed on a 'probationary status' with a deadline to address student concerns. If improvement is not seen in the student's performance and/or attitude, the student may be removed from the AVID program.
