Third Grade

March 25 I would like everyone to access Chrome Music Lab and explore the science of sound. Also, everyone should create an account in Quaver Music and explore that web site.

For next week: please create a 15-30 second presentation. Go through the STUDIO door on the right OR click the APP tab on the bottom left. Choose from Composer, Backbeat, Strum, Dancer or Grooves. Save your work by going to the FILE tab on the bottom.


If you have not yet done so, create an account and Log into Quaver Music.

1) Go to the Links tab above and then scroll down to "This is bad." How many mistakes can you find in the photo advertisment? There are three, but one is more "weird" then an actual mistake.....post your findings and thoughts on the Mendel Music Google Classroom stream.


2) Scroll down further and you'll see a couple of rhythm charts. Take a look at how the words are written out using rhythm and see if you can see the connections. Then, choose 10 words NOT already shown and write out the rhythm for them. Take a picture and post it in the Mendel Music Google Classroom.

Fourth Grade

March 25 Musicians should access Recorder Karate Dojo and practice belts white through black. Username and Password are on page 1 (Hot Cross Buns) of the music packet. This information will be sent to parents via e-mail.

Objective: I can compare and contrast the same piece performed in different styles.

Instruction:

Johann Sebastian Bach was born in March of 1685. He just celebrated his ________ birthday!! Do the math to find out old he would be if he were still alive.
