Chorus is a singing club open to third, fourth and fifth graders who enjoy singing and wish to perform.

Everyone is welcome and my chorus is non-auditioned.

We will prepare songs for Seasonal Concerts and may be invited to sing at PTO (or other) activities.

We will have a rehearsal/pizza party. More information will follow

Practices are every Wednesday, 2:10--3:30 in the JKM music room. After the rehearsal, students are dismissed to walk home. Singers who have chronic absences become a weak link to the group as a whole. It is the same with any team sport. Please do all you can to encourage your singer to fully attend all rehearsals, on time, for the entire time. That being said, I completely understand issues with doctor’s appointments, illness, and special family matters that may interfere with attendance on rare occasions.

To join, parents need only complete the information below and ensure it is returned to Miss Williams. Please write neatly and indicate if you’re using the number 0 or the letter o or O for your e-mail. You will receive reminders, up-dates and notices via e-mail. You will also receive notices of practice cancelations (very rare) via e-mail. Singers will be a member of the Chorus group on Mendel’s Schoology page.

Their classroom teacher will provide login information
