HWES PTSO

On behalf of the Humphreys West Elementary School Parent, Teacher, and Student Organization (HWES PTSO), the PTSO Board would like to be one of the first to welcome you and your family to the 2020-2021 School Year!

The HWES PTSO is made of students, parents, and teachers who are working to make HWES the best school possible. We are passionate about working together to make a difference. Each year we coordinate volunteer efforts for school activities and raise funds to support school programs that further enrich the experience of all students. Our organization sponsors fun events such as BINGO Night, Cookies & Canvas, a Read Across America Author Visit, Santa Shop, and Book Fairs, as well as, providing school resources like the use of the BrainPOP Educational Site and the editing software for our students’ Osprey TV program. We would love for you and your family to join us!

Annual dues are $10 per family, and these funds are used for initial start-up costs to purchase supplies for events and resources that the PTSO sponsors throughout the year. Additionally, we will have volunteer opportunities throughout the school year. If you express interest in volunteering, you may be contacted by the PTSO to help!

In an effort to limit the amount of papers being passed out and asked to be returned, the HWES PTSO has moved our membership registration and dues payments online. For registration and payment, we have attached the websites below and a QR code to the flyer for your convenience.

All families with paid memberships at our first meeting of the year will have their name placed into a drawing for some fun raffle prizes that we have for the start of the year!

We hope to see all of our amazing Osprey families soon, and we are looking forward to an amazing new school year!
