MAJ (R) Madonna L. Roberts has been teaching Army JROTC since August 2005.  She began her teaching career at Bamberg Middle High School and has been at Ansbach Middle High School since 2014. She earned her Master's Degree in Library Science from Southern Connecticut University in 2002, her Master’s Degree in Education from Boston University in 1991, and her Bachelor of Science in Business from Southern Illinois University (Edwardsville) in 1984.  MAJ (R) Roberts spent 21 years in the Army and 4 years in the Army Reserve. She served 7 years as a Clerk Typist and 18 Years as a Quartermaster Officer. Outside of the classroom MAJ (R) Roberts spends time fundraising and planning JROTC trips, volunteering with the local American Legion and Daughters of the American Revolution, traveling, and creating costumes. She resides in Ansbach, Germany and was married to the late MAJ (R) Ralph Roberts. She has two sons who both recently graduated from college: Ryan with a Bachelors in German and Rudiger with a Bachelors in International Business.
