MSG(R) Christopher Buchanan has been teaching Army JROTC since October 2016 at Ansbach Middle High School. He earned his Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University in 2012 and also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Columbia College. MSG(R) Buchanan spent 22 years in the Army, 12 years as a Combat Engineer and 10 Years as a Career Counselor. Outside of the classroom MSG(R) Buchanan spends time coaching the Ansbach Middle High School Marksmanship and Drill Team, volunteering with the local American Legion and VFW organizations and traveling Europe in his 1979 VW bus. He resides in Lichtenau, Germany and is married to Michaela. They have a son Jamie, who recently graduated from Humboldt State University and a daughter Jade who is attending Theresien-Gymnasium, Ansbach.
