Dear Families,

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We completed a short math and reading assessment to gauge where students are.  Take a few minute and look them over. Be a peace knowing I will always circle back to fill in any missing skills. You can use the math assessment to support your kiddo at home. Always start with positive feedback and then help them grow! We are looking for kids to range between 50%-100% on our math check in's and J/K on their reading level. 

You will be receiving evidence of learning all year long. It's a great way to stay connected to your child's learning!  If you ever have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

What to Pack Daily

To keep minds and bodies energized, please send your child with:

• A healthy snack (fruit, veggies, whole grains)

• A reusable water bottle filled with fresh water

Having these items every day helps students stay focused, alert, and ready to tackle new learning adventures.

How You Can Support Learning at Home

Your involvement makes a big difference. You can help by:

• Reading together for at least 15 minutes each evening

• Reviewing and signing reading log

• Encouraging your child to set small goals and share progress

• Maintaining a consistent bedtime routine to ensure they are well-rested

Reading- Daily reading log are in the blue folder. You can start logging what your kiddo is reading daily or fill it out weekly.
