In the past four years, rugby has become a major part of my life. I've honed my skills in the school's academy program and applied them in Terrigal Rugby League, where I was part of the first women's tackle team, reaching the semi-finals in the Central Coast Women's Tackle Competition. Our under-17 female team also made history by winning the championship for the Terrigal Sharks. Additionally, I've actively participated in school rugby events such as the Schoolgirl Cup, Oztag, and outside-of-school Oztag.
Water sports have played a pivotal role in my sporting journey, dating back to my childhood when I started with swimming lessons, nippers and squads. My passion for water sports has remained strong throughout my time at this school. I've continued to immerse myself in aquatic activities,This involvement includes being a member of the women's Gosford water polo team, participating in ocean swimming at Terrigal, freediving and participating in lifesaving and IRB racing.
Following the injury where I broke two metacarpals on June 16th and underwent surgery to insert two screws into my hand, sidelining me for the majority of the rugby season, I developed a deeper passion for the gym. Since June, I've been dedicated to enhancing my fitness and strength. My routine now includes regular spin classes, yoga, Pilates, and strength training sessions.
