CAD Design in Onshape Beginner Course
Below is a link to a CAD 3D modeling video workshop.
The videos in the play list are intended to teach someone who has little or no experience using Onshape 3D modeling software the basics to get started with learning CAD.
It covers:
Tour of Onshape and our Team cloud-sharing environment
Introduction to CAD (2D and 3D modeling)
Creating a part - Sketches, Dimensioning, Extrusions
Creating a drawing of a part (blue print) - How to read and make an engineering drawing so the part can be machined
Creating an Assembly with multiple modeled parts
Exporting a part to be plasma cut
Exporting a part to be 3D printed
The course is approximately 2 hours, and can be done at your own pace.
This course is design to be interactive where you follow along on your own computer, modeling what is being shown in the videos, with step-by-step instructions.
