Our team’s first season was in 2003. Since then, we have participated every year, an exception being the 2020 year due to COVID-19. At our high school, we are fortunate enough to have a wood/metal shop to work out of, with industry level equipment, such as; plasma cutter, laser cutter, 3D printers, CNC machine, milling machines, lathes, bandsaws, and drill presses. The key mission of our program is to promote STEM throughout the community while also educating our students to think outside the box. Our team mentors guide students through the build season, introducing students to engineering principles.

Students join with no prior experience, and through our Fall training from our team of mentors and senior students, students learn the skills needed to bring our robot to life every year! 

We have a team of mentors made up of BHS faculty and professionals from the Brookfield community who work with the students.
