Symphonic Band

The BASH Symphonic Band is a large concert ensemble that is open to any student at BASH regardless of prior experience on an instrument. This band is made up of students in grades 9 through 12 that have been playing for many years or are beginners on their instrument. Unlike the Wind Ensemble, this ensemble does not require an audition to be a member. This group performs classic wind band literature ranging from Percy Grainger to Samuel Hazo. The Symphonic Band rehearses every day of the cycle and performs in three concerts throughout the year. In addition to these concerts, the group also may perform for various adjudications and festivals.
