The Boyertown Area Senior High (BASH) Big Band is under the direction of Mr. Brian Langdon. The band plays music from the great big bands ranging from Duke Ellington to The Big Phat Band. This group rehearses after school twice a week and has developed a tradition of excellence in jazz music. The BASH Big Band has performed at various festivals including PMEA, around the world (most recently in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria) as well as performed with many great jazz musicians including Jim Snidero, Matt Gallagher and Chris Vadala.

The BASH Big Band is an audition only group for any student in grades 9 through 12. These auditions are in November and more specific information regarding auditions will be posted here at a later time.
