Project: Determining Necessary Location for SUF4 in Thale Cress (Arabidopsis thaliana)

For my third year in the Fox Lane science research plan, I decided to switch gears and find a mentor in plant science. I was mainly interested in plant-animal mutualisms and plant genetics, and settled on a project about the protein SUF4 with my mentor Heather Meyer at Syracuse University. I was able to have the opportunity to conduct the methodology for my project in person during July 2025. I am planning on participating in the Regeneron Westchester Science & Engineering Fair (WESEF) in March 2026.
