The Policy Board is the governing body for the management of grant funds received through the NYS Teacher Center Grant. Participating members of the Policy Board present felt needs from their respective schools as representatives of their community of educators; vote on items proposed, such as courses, materials, expenses for travel, attendance at workshops for instructors, etc.
It is comprised of representation from each of the buildings in the Bedford Central School District as well as a parent representative and administrator.
Policy Board Meetings are held on a monthly basis typically on the second Thursday of each month during the school year. This can change according to the school calendar so please check the calendar for official meeting dates.
It is essential to the Policy Board that all members participate in meetings as a quorum must be achieved for the meeting to proceed.
For the 2024-2025 school year meetings will be held in-person on Thursdays from 3:45 to 4:45pm in the Bedford Staff Development Center located in West House of Fox Lane Middle School. Should we need to do a virtual meeting, we will announce via the BTA Facebook page. The meeting link will be listed below and on the BTA Facebook page. The dates of the meetings are as follows:
