Within Oakmont, the student council organizes various events and activities such as

  • Pep Rallies

How to Join

Student Council's recruitment is a selective process. Members are elected by their class through a majority vote after giving a speech. Oakmont's Student Council is considered a closed council which means there is a set number of people from each grade and once you are elected, you do not have to run again. Four freshmen and two additional people from each grade are elected every year, making a total of 28 members on the council. Elections are held in the fall for freshmen and in the spring for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
