Library Advisory Board
What Goes On
LAB is a club for the library at Oakmont. LAB discusses what books the library should purchase, plan fun activities/programs, and promotes the library.
Popular programs LAB has organized in the past: Exam Crams, Frankenstuffy, Gingerbread House Competition, and Paint Night.
LAB members volunteer at library programs for children and complete library-related tasks in the teen space (shelving, craft prep, etc).
When does Library Advisory Board Meet?
LAB meets at Oakmont once a month. Currently, LAB meetings are the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Meetings usually last 20-30 minutes.
