The Library Advisory Board (LAB) is a club for the Oakmont Library. LAB members help plan library events, contests, and programs. They work on displays and decorations, make recommendations for book purchases, and generally promote the library.
Popular programs LAB has organized in the past: Exam Crams, Frankenstuffy, Gingerbread House Competition, and Paint Night.
LAB members volunteer at library programs for children and complete library-related tasks in the teen space (shelving, craft prep, etc).
LAB meets at Oakmont once a month. Currently, LAB meetings are the second Tuesday of every month. Meetings usually last 20-30 minutes.
All are welcome to LAB! Contact jmorin@awrsd.org for interest in joining!
