The team is part of the Ateneo Laboratory for Intelligent Visual Environments (ALIVE) under the VPROBE project. While a parallel group of Computer Science students worked on vehicle counting using computer vision for CSMO, our team focused on turning that data into a usable system for planning and deployment. Our goal was to use traffic data to help CSMO make clearer and more consistent decisions for campus security and mobility.

The EMPS POC is turned over to ALIVE. This ensures that development does not stop with the current team. Future teams can continue improving and expanding the EMPS under ALIVE’s supervision.
