We did a great job by working together both in and out of class to finish all our work two classes early and making sure everyone was knowledgeable about every topic of the presentation. This ensured we were well-prepared for our presentation.
In my next presentation, I want to improve my speaking and presentation skills by taking a more active role, rather than just following the slides.
My MOTH story was about a time in 7th grade when I had a severe allergic reaction at an Uno's Pizzeria. After staying in the hospital for a few days, I realized the importance of self-advocacy and responsibility. If I had told the waiter about my allergies and brought my Epinephrine Pen, this entire event would have been easily avoidable.
Overall, some things I struggled with were talking slower to be more understandable, and having a more confident presence while speaking.
