Hello! My name is Aeyah Elbasiony and I am a Global Pathways scholar.  I love to travel and work to protect the environment in my free time.  I also love to help others through my community service like tutoring, volunteer work at pediatric offices, and aiding in preparation for town events.  In my junior year, I traveled to Portugal for my cultural immersion.  It was one of the best experiences of my life as I was exposed to new food, cultures, and traditions.  Through this experience, I also met new people and made lifelong friends.  Global has been an opportunity to better myself and the world as well as an opportunity to research subjects that I'm interested in through capstone and continue understanding different perspectives globally.
