During the robotics building and competing process, students will learn key STEM principles. They will compete head-to-head against their peers in the program, other middle and high schools, and possibly on the world stage in the VEX and VEX IQ robotics competitions.
The modular and project-based curriculum teaches the design process in an engaging, hands-on manner to help teachers challenge, motivate, and inspire their students. By moving students through an actual engineering project, students quickly understand the relevance of what they are learning. Students will start off learning about engineering and problem solving. Then they will be presented with an engineering challenge, and they will need to build a robot to play a sport-like game.
This program is designed to with several goals in mind.
