About Me

My name is Mabruk Alam and I am a second-year multimedia editor on The Muse and first-year copy staffer on The Marquee. I've always had a passion for journalism ever since I joined my middle school newspaper. Finding the truth and being able to share it in digestible and engaging ways have become passions of mine other the years, so diving into multimedia journalism was a perfect fit. I am able to tell the stories I want to and learn so much more about the deep personalities and lives of others. I also enjoy quality checking pieces, because I would hate to see any grammar mistakes in the yearbook that people pay almost hundreds of dollars to get it. I try my best to treat both publication is  I am excited to continue my journey on The Muse and The Marquee and see what the rest of 11th grade has in store for me.
