The Museum in Issue one was my first time designing anything for print. It proved slighlty more difficult than I thought it might, especially on the second page where I had to try and configure three photos in a way that was symmetrical, or at least visually appealing.
My second time designing a Museum I started out with an immediate vision of the full page spread below. It came out well, but left me with the challenge of fitting the four remaining photos onto one spread.
The Drowsy Chaperone was my first time working directly on a spread other than FOB, but as a photo story it had many of the same issues regarding the placement and spacing of images. The most challanging part was figuring out how to configure the captions so they were readable but didn't interfere with the photos. I did this by grouping all the photos and then placing the captions in rough accordance with how the photos appear on the page.
