Art History Club
Art History Club
Art History club is meant to encourage students to learn more about the cultures and societies in different parts of the world that influenced or contextualized different kinds of art. This club can also serve as a study/tutoring group for AP art history students when exams come around. Another purpose of the club is to educate students on where art is originally from and potentially staring petitions to return this art to its original location.

Book Club was created in order to foster a love for literature in all the readers at Dreyfoos! All people are welcome to share their thoughts about whatever story is voted for each month. We hope to promote growth in all members of Book Club as new perspectives are showcased through the books we read and the discussions we have.

Dreyfoos Aerospace and Rocketry Club
Dreyfoos Aerospace and Rocketry Club
The first-of-its-kind Dreyfoos Aerospace and Rocketry Club brings students together who share a passion for space exploration. The Aerospace and Rocketry Club aims to accomplish three goals this year: to qualify for the prestigious and nationally recognized American Rocketry Challenge (TARC), to build a rocket measuring over five feet tall (which will require high-power motors!), and lastly, to create one of the first thrust-vectored model rockets of any high school rocketry program. We are combining mathematics, science, and engineering to demonstrate what is possible when Dreyfoos shoots for the stars! Join us — no prior experience is required.

The Dreyfoos Military History Cortier will be focused on the history of both nuanced and niche military conflict, strategy, tactics, weaponry, uniforms, and simulation. We will have a guest speaker every two months with knowledge on a specific category of Military history with the effect of teaching the new before the old forgets.

The economics club purpose is to provide students with the opportunity to participate in challenges like the Florida stock market challenge, national economics challenge, international economics Olympiad, and the UPenn stock challenge. Students who demonstrate interest will also be given the opportunity to voluntarily participate in teaching financial literacy at the boys and girls club using materials and curriculum from junior achievement and established non-profit organization.

Through an emphasis on scholarship, character, leadership, and service, the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts chapter of National History Honor Society aims to create enthusiasm for historical studies, promote leadership, and develop character among the students of Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. Members of the National History Honor Society should represent the values through service and academic endeavor.

Prepare to be a Senior
The purpose of our club is to help not only freshmen but all underclassmen to create a good academic foundation throughout high school. Throughout my 4 years of high school, there are things I wish that I knew that I know are beneficial to college applications, that the school does not teach us directly. Such as how to sign up for dual enrollment and that it is a good HPA boost, how to study for sat with khan academy, how to maintain extracurriculars and information we have learned through our 4 years here. We hope to do this with one general session at the beginning of the year, then each month focus on one topic for the club members to complete. There are a lot of essential things that students need apart from maintaining good grades and we hope to guide students to have a set path for the next 4 years.
