This year we did a lot of vector art.

We did the bullseye to start vector art. The steps to make it were tricky since we were to new to adobe illustrator.

Next we extended the bullseye and worked more on adobe illustrator.

Adobe Illustrator

We tested out the color library of adobe illustrator. There were so many colors! I didn't know which to choose. I chose three interesting fun colors and made them.

After having the hang of adobe illustrator we made these emojis. During the intro of adobe illustrator we were finishing up our favorite things video. We had to make them our own unique emojis, while still being recognizable.

After the other emojis, we extended the project. We created famous emojis. We turned someone you may know, for example Mickey Mouse and Apple's dragon emoji.

Ed Emberley

Chicken!

Rooster!

CHICKEN!

ROOSTER!

Now that we were far in vector art we did some fun Ed Emberley drawings.  We were getting ready for a field trip to the Scobee Space Center. I wanted to do many chickens, but I could only make a few. I made a cute chicken and rooster. Then I advanced the looks of the chicken with a rainbow. Next was the rooster who looks like a starry night.I even did a black and white one which I am still testing for animation.

Mars 3D Model

The model above is a sample of what our model is "supposed" to look like. In science we were doing a exploration to mars project. We made our model out of paper, popsicle sticks, tape, glue, a toy army man, and a dump truck that we turned into a rover.

Adobe Animate

After Adobe Illustrator we went to Adobe Animate. We did three different animation tutorials. First the windmill, in my personal experience it was very easy and a good tutorial to start with. Next I did the rocking ship, it taught me speed with anchor points. Anchor points are (in video animating) the points that separate each movement. The doll was the hardest, we had to make the head AND the body move.

After being more advanced in Adobe Animate. I wanted to learn more about bones, that cause the character to move in interesting angles that are natural looking. I learned about it by doing the jellyfish tutorial. Also the running pig below was a tutorial that taught me how to move characters entirely.

The chicken you see to my left is my own creation. If you remember the chickens in the Ed Emberley section, this was the chicken in testing. Like the pig running he went back and forth. It wasn't easy, but I will continue to work on it.
