Hello my name is Kai Elliott I am a sixth grade DATA student at Ed White middle school. I hope you enjoyed my digital portfolio That we made and have as much fun making it as I did. A little bit about me is that I love to ride horses and if you never have i definitely recommend it because it is so fun. I also love animals and am terrified of snakes.

A little bit about DATA is that when you are in DATA you have two tech classes and because of that we only get one elective and we do not get eagle hour. Also if you don't like tech this is not the place for you. But if you do love tech you will love this program because everything here is tech and it is non stop till the end. I will admit it is hard sometimes but it is also really fun sometimes. The address of our school is: 7800 Midcrown Dr, San Antonio, TX 78218. There is a map below that can help you find it if you don't know where it is.

This is our data director she is really nice and cares immensely about all of the kids at this school. She taught 7th and 8th grade Mathematics at DATA for 9 years. She says that her goal is to help students feel successful and that she will do anything to make that happen! Also she graduated from BYU-Provo with a BS in Recreational Management & Youth Leadership, and earned her Master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership through Lamar University.

This is Mr. Ruiz the principle of the school that includes ed white and data. You won't see him as much as mrs. vallente though because mr. Ruiz is more involved with ed white.

Growing up, Hilbig attended Camelot Elementary School, Ed White Middle School and Roosevelt High School. He was on the baseball and tennis teams at Roosevelt and played viola in the orchestra. His plan after high school was to find a way to help people, so he graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a psychology degree. His passion for helping others led to a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a four-year run at Churchill High School working with students in an Alternative Learning Environment (ALE). A phone call from former Roosevelt tennis coach Mike Green sent Greg home. “Coach Green was always there for us. I saw him all day, every day and that’s how I want my kids to see me.” Hilbig spent the next four years coaching tennis and teaching geography at Roosevelt. His desire to make a bigger impact sent him to North East ISD’s Administrative Training program – a yearlong internship that trains educators to become District leaders. That journey sent him back to Ed White where he’s been connecting with students as an assistant principal ever since. “Some people are born to be teachers, but a good majority of us fall into it and grow to love it,” said Hilbig. “There’s a lot of pride here, but really, it’s just nice to be home.
