Snip of Sample Graphic Layers
Sample Graphic
We made this in Adobe Illustrator first we made the lines. To do that we used the line segment tool to make the lines going from the edge to center. The we used shape tool to make the circles. After that we used the gradient tool to make it look like it has Bivalent and Bolos (3D). The images above are a snip and exported version of these for a assignment called "Sample Graphic Snip and Export". To do the snip first you want to copy and pasted the title for the file. Then your going to open the snipping tool make a new snip, and start at the top left corner. You want to have you layers up in the top left to do that you drag it there. Make sure you have that and a corner (1/4) of the circle. And then save as file and copy and pasted the name you copied.

This is my Emoji we made them on Adobe Illustrator we used the circle
( Sample graphic) and file saved as, so we could use the red circle for the face ( yellow part ). We used the rest of the circles to make the eyes. We colored the green one white ( the white of your eye ), the blue one brown or what ever color you wanted ( Iris ), and the yellow one black ( pupil). After that you group them all together and size down. Then you can go to object, transform, and shear to get the weird shape. The you drag the layer to the + layer to make your second eye. To make the second eye face the right way you go object reflect. To make the eyebrows you make a line and add effects. Too make the smile we made a line and curved the edges using anchor points. We had to export it using a transparent background, so that if you put a color background there's not a white square.
If you look there is no white background.
On this one there is a white background.
We did this to practice for making our monsters, which you make in the first week of school in ELAR. We used Adobe After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder to export. To animate used keyframing just like in My Favorite Things. I keyframed both the scale (The eyes) and rotation (The right arm). But first we had to import both the face and body files into Adobe After Effects. We clicked in the black square in the left corner and pressed import files.
Draft on paper ( If you see on a different portfolio its because, I got mine mixed up with theirs, but the Adobe on is my version.
We had to trace it in Adobe Illustrator so we can import it into Adobe After Effects. Once we imported it we started to keyframe the scale, rotation, position,
To export we press export with Adobe Media encoder. Once there we change it to animate GIF and transparents and press export.
