To make this video we first collected images and made our gradient which I talk about furrier down the page. After we gather the images we put them "My Favorite Assets" Then put that in a folder titled 241007 My Favorite Things - VIDEO Project Folder . Then we made a project in Adobe Premier 2024 by clicking on a TEMPLATE. Then we downloaded the template file rename it to 241007 My Favorite Things - Firstname Lastname . Next I put it in the same file as My Favorite Assets. After we imported My Favorite Assets folder into the template. Then we started to find what Mister Hicks call magic numbers. Magic numbers is where you zoom out as far as you can without see the warning color. You find all of those and start keyframing.

How to make gradient

I used Photopea ( You will also learn to link stuff or called hyperlink ) to make the backgrounds using the gradient tool. You create a new layer and then click on the gradient tool. You will then select the colors you want and make a gradient.

After we had our backgrounds made we started on text. To make the text more, legible we first selected a fount that was big and it was even better if it had a bold option.

To have the effects we right clicked and then click on bending options, I selected bevel and emboss to make it look 3D. You can add a color over lay to change the color, you can also add a outer glow to kind of sperate it from the background if the color was too similar or you liked how it looked. After this we used photoshop and exported them to *date number* My Favorite Things - Project Folder later we make another folder in it called My Favorite Assets and put it in there two.

Here are the photos I used in My Favorite Things video. To get high resolution images we went to Google Images settings advanced search.

You can then change it to size 8MP(megapixels) and search, they all had to be bigger then 2560 x 1440. You can tell by hovering over the image, and in the bottom left corner it should say how many pixels it is.

Then you save the images to *date number* My Favorite Things - Project Folder. Later you will put it in a sub file called My Favorite Assets.
